Hello, I’m Clem.
I believe words are the original human interface. They should be clear, purposeful, and honest. There is bravery in putting people over politics and seeking what truly matters.
I’m a UX Content Strategist who uses language to solve design problems. My work centers on clarity, where I prototype user experiences with words. I’m passionate about helping teams communicate and build something meaningful together. If you need someone to untangle words & interactions for websites, mobile apps, and digital products, I’d love to talk to you.
Currently, I’m a content strategist at ICF. I help government agencies improve how they communicate with their constituents. Previously, I was a UX Researcher for AI-driven products at Capital One. Before that, I helped CMX Media develop their content strategy, worked with social entrepreneurs to ship fundraising campaigns at StartSomeGood, introduced new listeners to creatives on the 10,000 HOURS podcast, and helped Imperative‘s CEO launch the book, Purpose Economy.
My love for people & technology led me to get my M.S. in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. Before that I received my B.A. in biology.
Right now I call Washington, D.C. home, but Seattle will always have my heart. You can usually find me taking photos or sipping on coffee.
